You’ll depart from Caye Caulker Island by sea on San Pedro Belize Express water ferry or by air on Maya Island Air; the choice is yours.. Keep your cameras handy as there will be many opportunities to get pictures of monkeys and other wildlife. This beautiful, serene ride is a great way to start your day before you get to walk through and climb the temples at Lamanai. Ask your experienced guide for names of flora and fauna along the way. Your boat captain will make a couple of stops to mimic the call of the animals in the area and for you to get pictures.Once at Lamanai, if you are not afraid of heights, climbing the tallest temple to get the one-of-a-kind view above the canopy will be a piece of cake.
