The Lapinha x Tabuleiro crossing is one of the most classic crossings in the southern sector of the gigantic Serra do Espinhaço, a mountain range that stretches over 1,200 kilometers from the central region of Minas Gerais to the north of Bahia. The expedition begins in the bucolic Lapinha da Serra district, located in the municipality of Santana do Riacho and ends in Tabuleiro, district 19km from Conceição do Mato Dentro headquarters, standing out for the mountains, valleys and waterfalls along the way.
This classic adventure of 37km on the main circuit of Serra do Cipó, whose goal for those from the paradise Lapinha da Serra is to reach the third highest waterfall in Brazil, the famous Tabuleiro Waterfall. Altogether it is 273m, an incredible rocky wall that forms and where the cold and crystalline waters descend into a huge bathing well.
