Learn the Art of Rajasthani Cuisine - Cook and Dine with a Local in Jaipur

Duration

clock2 to 4 hours

Overview

Jaipur, the largest city in Rajasthan has a lot of do, see and eat! The best way to learn more about the city as well as enjoy the local cuisine would be through a local.

Meet home-chef Vaishali, a local raised in Jaipur and familiar with the local customs and traditions. She along with her mother-in-law Usha love to host people at their home. Join them for a cooking class where you will learn few dishes from the local cuisine such as Matar Paneer (dish made with peas and cottage cheese), Churma (coarsely ground wheat crushed & cooked with clarified butter and sugar) or Chana Masala (dish made with black chickpeas). Following the class, you can head to the dining area to enjoy the scrumptious meal with Vaishali and Usha over interesting conversations. Please Note: This is not a professional cooking class, but an opportunity to interact with a local family and learn the tips and tricks of Indian cooking.
