Overview

"Learn by tasting". That's our motto! During this workshop, you will discover more about two of the most characteristic products of the island: cheese and wine. Let us guide you through this experience, you will not regret it! We carefully selected six wine labels amongst the great assortment produced by the seven wineries of Lemnos. We will introduce you to the ancient history and tradition of wine production on the island and you will try the famous wines that even Homer mentions in the Iliad. Meanwhile, you will also have the occasion to taste the four varieties of cheese made with sheep and goat milk. Together, we will serve crunchy bread rusks made with the local varieties of flour, thyme honey, and traditional spoon sweets. At the end of the tasting, you will have mastered the art of combining them with the various wine types. We will be in Pezoula Café, a vibrant place where since 2016 we do our best to share with our clients our passion for good food and beverages.
