The tour around Lipari offers lots of snorkeling spots in turquese water of pomice or in multicolour volcanic caves on the east coast as well as stunning volcanic caves on the west coast (can't get there on the landway).
On Salina visit and stop in Santa Marina Salina and lunch stop at Lingua where you may taste the famous Granita da Alfredo.
