Sainte Thérèse of Lisieux is one of the most popular saints in the history of the church. Pope Pius X called her "the greatest saint of modern times".
The Sanctuary of Lisieux, the city where she lived and died, is a very special place, to visit and follow her footsteps.
In this 1 or 2-Day tour, you travel to the city of Lisieux by train from Paris (we also offer the option to travel by private minivan), starting at Saint Lazare train station.
On arrival to Lisieux, you will meet your guide for a full-day walking tour to visit the places related to the saint: Attend the 11:15 mass at the Carmel, have Lunch in the Hermitage, Visit "The Buissonnets" her childhood home, discover the beautiful Basilica built in her name and the Cathedral where she used to pray. You can go back that same day to Paris or if you prefer, you can spend that night in Lisieux at the Herimtage and the next day have free time for your personal prayers and contemplation and return to Paris at the end of the day.
