Overview

    Before World War II Lviv was under the Polish rule. In the beginning of September 1939 Luftwaffe conquered sky of all Poland. The Second World War were started by Nazi German and Soviet Union as allies, who wanted to divide the world.

    During and after WWII the citizens of Lviv were the victim of many war crimes against humanity from Soviet and Nazi regimes. There are a lot of places which looks like a black spot in our city. I will show you some of that places and tell you about their history.
    Most World War II historical places in Lviv including 2 museums and 3 prisons.
    We will see Rynok square, old Casino, Lviv University, St. Yura cathedral church, "Lonskoho prison", "Brygitky", old synagogue, Jewish ghetto, "Territory of terror" and many other monuments and places.
