    Pepian: this guatemalan dish varies from green to light or dark red colors, and it can be accompanied by beef, pork or chicken. Pepian is a typical dish from the departamnet of Chimaltenango. 

    Hilachas: is a typical dish from the departament of Baja Verapaz, which is one of the most popular dishes througout Guatemala .

    Jocon: is a representative dish from Huehuetenango wich is served in most towns of the country.
