Walk on the thousand-year-old ice for which Alaska is world-renowned, on our Matanuska Glacier Hike Guided Tour. A full day of sightseeing and activity starting and ending in Anchorage. Tour duration is 7-8 hours. Itinerary includes round trip transportation on a comfortable van or coach from Anchorage, a snack/lunch & beverage pickup stop at the supermarket (on your own), the beautiful 2 hour drive to Matanuska Glacier with a photo stop, a comprehensive orientation to ice-walking and fitment of included safety gear, a 2+ hour hike on the glacial ice then the scenic return drive with an additional photo stop. Primary tour narration is in Mandarin Chinese. Ice Walk Orientation instructions and activity narration are in English, with Mandarin translation provided by tour guide.
