Overview

    The Tour is a fascinating discovery of the ancient history and mystical story about the statue of “Venus De Milo” which is one of the most celebrated ancient Greek sculptures. Dating back to approximately 200BC, the statue resembles love and beauty and is believed to depict the goddess “Aphrodite. The statue was discovered by a Greek peasant in the current village known as Trypiti and due to its location being perched up on the hillside overlooking the sparkling blue Aegean Sea it is believed the statue could also have an affinity to “Amphitrite”, the mystical sea goddess.
