    The annual Monarch butterfly migration is one of nature’s great spectacles and a top attraction for visitors to Mexico’s central highlands. Monarch butterflies goes from eastern Canada to central Mexico for more than 2,500 miles.

    You will be picked up from your hotel in Mexico City in the morning and go to the Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve. On this period, when we have these amazing guests, forests turn into orange color. Butterflies arrival occurs most of the times at the beginning of November when in Mexico celebrates the Day of the Dead and mexicans believe that these butterflies are the souls of the dead.

    Also during the tour, you will have a spectacular walk or if you prefer you can pay to take a horse ride along the coniferous forest to the top of the hill, where the Butterfly Valley lies.
