During the tour, we will talk about modern and past fashion and fashionable stores in Moscow. You will know how to recognize the signs and symbols of great couturiers.
You will learn what “Haute Couture” is, become a style expert, hear what wealthy ladies of the early 20th century dreamed of. Your guide will tell you how they stood in line for another rare product in TSUM and GUM and how some people dreamed of buying clothes models created in the All-Union House of Models. We will not forget to tell you about amazing facts from the life of Nadezhda Lamanova, the first Soviet fashion designer.
As part of our program, we will visit the "Museum and Exhibition Center" Museum of Fashion "located in Gostiny Dvor.
Then we will have a unique chance to look behind the scenes of the world of fashion, spending an amazing two hours at the production of Igor Chapurin Fashion House - from the design department to ready-made Haute Couture dresses in a single copy.
