The Impressionism and Post-Impressionism gallery is located in an annex of the famous Pushkin Museum. Here you can discover unique European and American collections. The Pushkin Museum has focused on displaying Russian and European paintings and pieces of art, since its opening in 1912.
Your guide will teach you the evolution of art movements between the 19th and 20th centuries, explaining the different schools and influences. World-famous paintings can be seen here, like The Dance by Henri Matisse, The Prisoner’s Round by Vincent Van Gogh, and Claude Monet's Rouen Cathedral at Sunset.
