What To Expect

• Local-style lunch - Simple local style lunch will be provided at the finish point when you finished your trekking. Your friendly, English-speaking driver will collect you from your hotel and take you straight to the foot of the volcano. Here, you'll meet your affable English-speaking guide who will provide a quick overview of the expedition and answer any queries you may have. Mount Batur is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Network and an active volcano.

You'll start your climb in darkness, beneath a sky full of stars. Your guide can tell tales about the local landscape, history and culture as you ascend. When arriving at the summit, they'll gladly offer advice for getting that perfect shot or allow time for simply taking in the sights in peace.
