Stop At: Mount Sinai, Saint Catherine 46512 Egypt

We will depart at 19:00 pm in the evening and embark on a 2–3 hours drive to the monastery and mountains. We'll start ascending the mountain at 01:00 am with our guide, while appreciating the starry sky.

Stop At: St. Catherine's Monastery, At the Foot of Mount Horeb, Saint Catherine Egypt

After witnessing sunrise, we'll climb down hill and visit St. Catherine's Monastery. We will be back in Sharm el-sheik by noon.

Visit the world-famous Monastery of Saint Catherine which is one of Christianity’s oldest monasteries situated in the heart of Sinai Peninsula at an elevation of 1570 meters where Moses allegedly saw a bush that refused to burn up as per tradition. It is an Orthodox UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to Justinian's era (6th century). The monastery was named after Saint Catherine who was one of Alexandria’s earliest Christian martyrs in the 11th century AD and comprises several monuments such as Burning Bush seen by Moses and remarkable Icons Gallery.
