Stop At: Mount Sinai, Saint Catherine 46512 Egypt

We commence at 19:00 pm in the evening with a 2–3 hours journey to the monastery and the mountains. We will begin climbing the mountain at 01:00 am accompanied by our guide. Whilst waiting for sunrise we can enjoy viewing the stars.

Stop At: St. Catherine's Monastery, At the Foot of Mount Horeb, Saint Catherine Egypt

Once dawn breaks, we will go downslope and visit St. Catherine's Monastery. Around noon we should return to Sharm el-sheik.

Explore the Monastery of Saint Catherine which is considered one of the most renowned monasteries on earth and also it’s amongst the oldest monasteries of Christianity. It’s located in heart of the Sinai Peninsula at an elevation of 1570 meters in place where according to tradition Moses saw bush on fire that didn’t burn up. The Monastery is Orthodox and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery dates back to Justinian's era 6th century. It was then that an enclosure wall was built around it but monastery was named Saint Catherine beginning 11th century honoring saint Catherine who was one of early Alexandria Christian martyrs . It contains numerous monuments like burning bush seen by Moses as well as remarkable Icons Gallery.
