You have a great opportunity to discover Mtirala National Park.Located at 1.381 m above sea level, it is the rainiest territory in Georgia, hence the name "mtirala" meaning "weeping". High humidity, frequent rains and fog make the landscape of Mtirala National Park very special. The park remains a protected site for Colchis flora and fauna including rare and endangered endemic and relict species
Our 5 km hiking route will pass through:
The beautiful gorge of the Chakvistskali River
The underwood with cherry laurel, Colchic box trees and various types of ivies
A 15 m high waterfall covered in ivy and Colchic box trees
Lake of divine beauty, where you can see trout and swim
AVAILABLE ACTIVITIES: Recreation, riding mountainous bicycle and quadricycle,horse riding, swimming in the lake, bird watching(at certain period)
