At 8:00am you will be collected from your hotel to begin your half-day excursion to visit the Luxor Museum and Mummification Museum. Commence the tour by visiting the Luxor Museum, situated in Egypt's city of Luxor (ancient Thebes). Opened in 1975, this museum is housed in a small purpose-built structure. Following that, make your way to the Mummification Museum located on Luxor's corniche. Its purpose is to provide visitors with an understanding about ancient mummification practices. In Ancient Egypt embalming was applied not just to humans but to many species too. Lastly transfer back to your hotel in Luxor.
