During this 3¼-hour tour, a bilingual guide will escort your group on an easy, flat walk though Mérida’s historic center. You’ll go to 3 restaurants chosen to show the best of traditional Yucatecan cuisine. At each one you will be seated. You'll have a Guidebook with information about each restaurant and the foods served.
• At the 1st restaurant you will be served an array of distinctive appetizers, or soup and hand-made tortillas. Don’t worry about spicy! In Yucatán spicy chiles and salsas are optional and served on the side.
• At the 2nd restaurant you will be served tasting portions of a trio of traditional Yucatecan meats (pork, chicken, sausage).
• The 3rd restaurant will serve an extraordinary traditional dessert, with coffee if you like.
All restaurants will serve delicious aguas frescas - waters infused with fruits or plants, such as chaya, lime, or hibiscus. At one stop you will be offered a cocktail.
