The Univali Oceanographic Museum (MOVI) is among the four main collections of natural history in Brazil, and in the oceanographic theme is the largest in the Americas and third largest in the world!
The long-term exhibition of the Univali Oceanographic Museum features over 1400 animals, providing the visitor with an overview of Brazilian marine biodiversity. It is divided into seven different wings:
- Emergence of life and oceanography;
- Marine Invertebrates;
- Cartilaginous fish;
- Bone fish;
- Marine Reptiles;
- Seabirds;
- Marine mammals.
In addition, live animals in aquariums add life and movement to the exhibition circuit.
