Mini cruise to an earthly paradise located on the Libyan Sea in the south of Crete. The blue colors of the sky and the sea blend to make the golden sand magical that contrasts with the green of the centuries-old cedars.
It is a flat island famous for the color of its waters, which resemble those of tropical seas, with infinite shades of blue, azure and turquoise. The color of the sea is enhanced by that of the beaches made up of pink mother-of-pearl sand created by the natural crushing of countless shells. Precisely this gives the island one of its two names: Chrissì - golden. The other name is Gaiduronìsi - donkey island with an ancient custom of bringing old donkeys to die on the island.
