We take you through the events of the day from a perspective not found on other tours. Why was JFK even in Dallas that day and why was that route for the motorcade chosen- We lay out the incredible coincidences and timing that culminated in a national tragedy that is as poignant today as it was in 1963.
We also tell the story of Jackie Kennedy's tremendous loss and her overwhelming grief. A story often overlooked. You've heard how she was stoic and poised in public, which she was, but we take you deeper into the private, human side of the story. You'll stand in disbelief as you hear these untold stories and wonder if you could have withstood the same public pressure if you were in her shoes. Not just the Assassination, but other, equally devastating life experiences.
We end the tour at the Sixth Floor Museum. There you can continue with a self guided tour equipped with headsets. We will help you buy tickets, give an overview of the Museum and help you with a speedy entrance.
