This unique Photography Master Class is the only one you can find on the net that combines the Art and ability to observe with the practice of Mindfulness. Through a journey of learning from the Masters of Photography and their unique approach, I will lead you to understand not only the visual technique of photography, mainly composition and light, but also the deep meaning that true photography can express. As Henry Cartier-Bresson said "To photograph is to recognize in the same instant and in a fraction of a second a fact and the rigorous organization of the visually perceived forms that express and signify that fact. It is putting the head, the eye, and the heart on the same line of sight. It's a way of life.” Combining this famous phrase with the concept and practice of Mindfulness will contribute not only to become better photographers but also more aware of human beings, through the ability to be confidently aware and present, seeing and feeling ourselves and the world.
Unique workshop on the art of photography as a way to practice the mindfulness philosophy of life.
What to Expect
I am a professional photographer with vast international experience. I have worked in media and visual communication for over thirty years in Europe, the USA, and Africa. Through my career, I understood that there is a very strong connection between our inner life and the way we portray the world we see. As much we need to keep an objective eye to witness and explain reality, we must also be able to improve our sense of presence and awareness of our own being in the World. Achieving and gaining a deep understanding and awareness of that connection helps us to become better photographers as well as better human beings. This very unique webinar that combines the Art of Photography with the philosophy and practice of Mindfulness is the beginning of a journey of knowledge, paved with the Art of several Photography Masters such as Henri Cartier-Bresson, Robert Kapa, Sebastiao Salgado, Vivian Maier, Liu Bolin, and many others. Naturally, it includes also my photography work to explain the meaning of being present and Mindful. This journey will revolutionize your way to perceive and practice photography. Learning to see is the longest internship in all the arts. (Edmond De Goncourt)
