    The best way to see Oxford & its surroundings is on a bicycle on this small-group bicycle tour along the River Thames Path. In fact, bikes are the locals' favourite way to get around the city as the compact Oxford is not very car-friendly. This small-group tour averages under 4 people per group and includes a cycle tour into the countryside lasting approx 2.5 hours plus a walking tour about the city & university lasting approx 90 minutes+

    The route covers some of the iconic Oxford university and city sights and stories with a relaxing paced cycle ride along the River Thames to Iffley or Binsey Village. 

    You have the options as follows- so please make known your request, when booking the tour: 12.30 tour ends about 5.30pm, 2.30pm tour ends about 7pm

What to Expect

    This activity concept is aimed at solo travellers (or friends) of any age who want to meet people and meet locals to see what Oxford life is like. This is an activity idea rather than actually a tour. Myself or one of my colleague guides will take turns to host walk and talk social activity followed by invitation to join us and other participants for a drink or to eat at a venue wherever the walk ends. I have listed some suggestions of what the guided walk might be but it won't be fixed which walk as it will depend on the weather, the time of year and how many persons turn up. All the tours will be walking distance from the city centre meeting point. These events will require a minimum of 4 persons total to have booked by 9.30am same day as the events, for the event to go ahead. If these minimum numbers have not been met, you will be refunded in full on the same day and notified that morning of the cancellation. Group sizes will be kept under 15 persons but likely will be smaller.
