Drive from Sharm to Taba to take a ferry across the Gulf of Aqaba and head to Jordan, where we will bring you to the amazing, rock-cut city of Petra. This is an incredibly impressive archeological site that has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one that you won't soon forget.

What To Expect

You will be transferred from your hotel in Sharm El Shiek to Taba by a modern air-conditioned Vehicle; the way takes about 3 hours and a half. You will then be met and assisted at Taba to board the boat to Aqaba, where you will proceed directly to Petra for a full day visit. This tour includes seeing the red rose rock city, the city of the Nabataeans, the lost city which is all carved in the mountains, riding on horseback through Siq (canyon) – a natural crack in rocks with carvings of statues, idols and niches - observing The Treasury standing there for over 2000 years, followed by visiting Roman theatre, royal tombs, Roman colonnaded street and Qasr al-bent. Lunch will be provided before returning to Aqaba port to take cruise back to Taba; after which you will be driven back to your hotel in Sharm El Shiek. Note: In case of an urgent cancellation on part of ferry or booking other days out of schedule, you will be transferred via Taba borders to Arava Borders crossing into Jordanian side.
