Overview

    Visit with your personal diriver the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the beautiful seaside village of Portovenere. Two important gems of Italian history.
    After meeting your driver at the Cruise Terminal, we will move to Pisa, where you can visit Piazza dei Miracoli. Be amazed by the impressive marble monuments and the green grass where you can lie down to admire the famous Leaning Tower, (which you can climb if you wish with an entrance cost of 18 euros). Otherway you can visit the beautiful Cathedral of Pisa or the wonderful Baptistery, located next to the Leaning Tower, where you can admire beautiful works of art!
    Later we will move to Porto Venere, for a walk to the Seaside Castle and Byron's Cave, where the poet found his inspirations. Porto Venere looks like a "corsair village", with its picturesque colored houses the typical local products, such as oil, wine and the famous pesto. At the end of the tour we will return to the cruise terminal of La Spezia.

What to Expect

    Explore the Chianti Region and visit the famous "Leaning Tower" of Pisa in one day with a private tour and our local expert driver. Itinerary: • Our driver will pick you up at your Cruise Ship in Livonro port • In the morning we will visit the city of Pisa and the incredible Leaning Tower. We will also see the great Baptistery and the Cathedral which are located in the same square as the Tower • Afterwards we will drive within the famous Chianti region, which includes the iconic landscape of rolling hills, sunflowers, cypress avenues and medieval villages. • We will drive through the Chianti vineyards, along a beautiful wine route. • For lunch we'll feast in a typical Tuscan farm, tasting homemade pasta, Pecorino cheese, Ham and the best Wines of our Region. • Before lunch we will visit the vineyards, the cellar and discover the secrets of the production of Chianti wine. • The return is scheduled for 4pm. This is our secret Tuscany for you!
