• Poás Volcano National Park in Costa Rica covers an area of approximately 65 km²; The maximum elevation is 2,708 meters above sea level.
• The volcano is located within the Central Conservation Area. The main crater, being one of its main attractions, is 300 m deep and has a diameter of approximately 1.7 km. It is the largest geyser crater and one of the largest overall in the world, with small emissions of gases and an acid lagoon. In addition, its crater is easily accessible.
• Not only has one of the largest craters in the world, but is located in the forests of Central Mountain Range, which boasts magnificent natural landscapes: this is the Poas Volcano National Park.
