    This tour focuses on the exploration of two prominent archaeological sites in the area: Pompeii and Herculaneum. The latter was an affluent residential village occupied by intellectuals and aristocrats, while the former was a bustling city full of merchants and travelers. They were both at their peak when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD.

    Make a stop to discover more about Cameos (carved sea shells) and Corals craft from a local factory. Lunch break at a nearby restaurant with a 3-course tourist menu not including drinks. Tour manager will meet you at the closest pick-up point to your accommodation between 8 am and 9 am; this activity will last approximately 8 hours.

    At the time of its destruction, Pompeii had around 11,000 inhabitants. Nowadays, it is one of the most visited archaeological sites worldwide while Herculaneum has gained more attention due to its Villa dei Papiri containing over 1800 papyruses.
