Stop At: Vesuvius National Park, Via Palazzo del Principe, 80044 Ottaviano Italy

Mount Vesuvius (tickets and alpine guide in a small group included): it is most renowned for its eruption in AD 79 which caused the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Oplontis and Stabiae.
You can visit the volcano with an altitude of 4,203-feet (1,281-meters). From there you can take a path that is 0.75-miles (1,200-meters) long to reach the summit of the volcano.

Lunch and Wine Tasting (both included):
In a local restaurant/winery close to Pompeii and on the slope of Mount Vesuvius Volcano. All visitors are welcome to stay for an "Italian style" tasting held on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
Tasting menu includes:

• Antipasto appetizer with local products such as salami, provolone cheese, 'casatiello' (a local savory bread), and bruschetta with heirloom Piennolo tomatoes served on bread baked in a wood-burning oven; matched with Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Bianco DOP wine; Rosato; Rosso.

• Spaghetti made from durum wheat flour tossed with sauce made from heirloom Piennolo tomatoes and basil; paired with Lacryma Christi Riserva aged in French oak barrels for 18 - 24 months.

• Pastiera Napolitana dessert accompanied by Capafresca Spumante Rosato as well as Acquavite di Albicocche del Vesuvio which is an apricot distillate.

• Soft drinks instead of wine for those under 18.

• Option Private Tour: This is a private Tour. Only your group will participate and it can be modified and/or customized (even while on tour)
• Option Shared Tour: Solution with a lower price dedicated to travelers sharing the vehicle with a small group (up to 8 people per vehicle). Not customizable. It is not possible to include attractions tickets purchased by your own
• Volcano Crater important informations: Vehicles do not go to the top of the Volcano crater, but will drop you off at an altitude of around 0.62-miles (1,000-meters), the trail to the top climbs just under another 200-meters walking. If weather conditions don’t allow to trail to the top, from the altitude of around 1000m you will have time to enjoy the panoramic view. No refund is due. To climb the Volcano we suggest you may need to have with you: rain gear, hat, sneakers or climbing boots, sun screen and water
• Wine Tasting: Minimum drinking age is 18 (will have soft drinks instead wine)
• One infant seat available on request

Cruise Port, right outside your ship, pickup and dropoff.
• English-speaking Driver with a private vehicle will be waiting for you right outside the ship, holding a sign with your name on to be easily recognized.
• No need to take Bus Shuttle from ship since our permits allow us to enter in the Cruise Port.
In Shared Tour Option only: Your Driver may make a few stops (usually 2/3 stops) along the way to pick up, or drop off, fellow passengers. This means that your Driver could arrive within 15-30 minutes of your scheduled pickup time.
