Overview

Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the remains of the ancient city of Pompeii, renowned as one of the most celebrated archaeological sites in the world, and its majestic neighbour volcano Vesuvius, which caused destruction for Pompeii and Herculaneum in 79 AD.

This tour is available all year round departing from Naples every day. The visit will commence with exploration of some of Pompeii's key places such as thermal baths, Lupanare frescoes, Macellum and Basilica; if any villas or buildings are undergoing restoration works during your visit, then your guide will replace them with alternative locations.

Following this you will be taken to Vesuvius where a stop at a restaurant with panoramic views awaits. Enjoy a delicious pizza before our driver takes you up to Monte Somma (1133mt). Here you will have an amazing view of Vesuvius cone (1281mt) over on the right-hand side. Please note that names must be provided for those wishing to ascend Vesuvius.
