Porto Flavia is one of the wonders of Sardinia. This monument of extraordinary industrial archeology dominates an enchanting coast, giving visitors a breathtaking view of the thousand shades of blue of the Masua sea and the suggestive Faraglione di Pan di Zucchero, a 133-meter natural monument.
A real engineering masterpiece that improved the working conditions of the miners and reduced the time and cost of transporting the ore.
The name of the port was given by the engineer Cesare Vecelli. The designer of the work wanted to give him the name of his daughter. The port remained operational until the 1960s.
During the guided tour of Porto Flavia you go through the upper gallery until you reach the terrace from which you can enjoy a unique panorama.
