Did you know that Porto’s pastry is not confined to the PASTEL DE NATA- In fact, the variety of local pastries and cakes is unmeasurable rich and diverse. From KIDS to ADULTS, our world-famous Portuguese cuisine is full of delicious desserts, traditional cakes, and unique pastries waiting to be discovered. As a true Tripeira—the name given to people originally from Porto—I'm delighted to unveil during this experience all of these hidden gems that we have.
Throughout our experience we will visit THREE of Porto's best bakery and pastry shops, and learn all about their origins and history – perhaps even some of their secrets. We will taste EIGHT different cakes and pastries, and understand how these are made while we uncover their historical context. In addition to this, I'll suggest the right drinks to pair with the food and clarify any questions you might have. All the bakeries are within a walking distance of each other.
