This activity is for 2-4 people only. In 2009, 4th generation cattle farmer, Johnny Lynch took a very brave step in Ireland's dairy farming industry and diversified species by imported 31 Italian Water Buffalo! Lots of his peers and neighbours thought he was insane at the time but today his farm produces gold medal award winning cheeses on site and his Buffalo meat is sold country wide.This activity is a unique opportunity to spend some relaxed time with the Buffalo Man/ Entrepreneur , learn how he did it, in this unspoilt region of Southern Ireland. This is the only Water Buffalo farm that private tours are available since 2016 by Dorothy O’Tuama, the farm's certified Failte Ireland Guide and Chef from over the road. Dorothy has milked the buffaloes and made the cheese so is well placed to give an informative introduction to the farmer and tour on this amazing farm.
