Overview

    We start our journey at Tzistaraki Mosque, one of few surviving examples of a mosque in Athens. We then visit Hadrian’s Library, which was the largest in Athens and with its columned façade and high surrounding walls, is built to impress. We make a stop to admire the Ancient Agora including the Stoa of Attalos, the most impressive building in the Athenian Agora. We then stroll through Avyssinia’s square where you will have the chance to purchase special items from the traditional local antique shops. We will then make a break for snacks and beverages at Monastiraki square. The tour resumes with a stop at the Roman Forum, Tower of the Wind and the Madrasah Gate. We then pass through the picturesque neighborhoods of Plaka andAnafiotika and get to know Ermou Street, the most famous commercial road in Greece. Our tour ends at Syntagma Metro Station where our guide will provide you a Parthenon Tours souvenir.
