Get to know the architectural, historical and regional facts and visit world famous movie locations ('Sound of Music'). Pass by Mozart's residence and birthplace before we enter the narrow lanes and coast inner yards of the old town. Admire clerical power such as the cathedral, monasteries and churches and learn more about the landmark towering above the city. The fortress Hohensalzburg is protecting Salzburg since almost 1000 years and is an unmistakable feature of Salzburgs world-famous skyline.
