Kunti Betta is a rocky hill situated 125 kms from Bangalore, in the quaint village of Pandavapura. The hill features paths that take you over huge boulders and rocks which gets steeper the further you ascend. From the peak, you will get splendid views of the Pandavapura lake and sugarcane fields. The Pandavapura village and Kunti Betta are part of many historical folk tales that date back to the Mahabharatha. It is said that when the Pandavas were sent into exile, they stayed here for a short while and their mother Kunti fell in love with the hill, thus christening it Kunti Betta.
