Meet your host Fusina at her home and weather permitting, walk by the canals to her favorite neighborhood shops where you will discover authentic Dutch food and brands, and shop for ingredients for your cooking class. You may visit her favorite pastry shop, cheese shop and buy fresh herring at the stall on the Prinsengracht canal. Return to Fusina's cozy kitchen to learn to cook and flip pannekoeken or pancakes, a very typical Dutch meal. You can create savory pancakes from ham and cheese as well as sweet pancakes with a variety of ingredients and toppings like fresh apples from the market - all completely from scratch!
