    Jiankou to Mutianyu is a very popular Great Wall hiking route in Beijing. This is a breathtaking 10 km hike that combines wild and restored Great Wall. You have to be in good physical condition but you will be rewarded with fantastic scenery. The Jiankou to Mutianyu hike should definitely be on you list of things to do. This private hiking tour includes Great Wall entrance fee, private hiking guide and transfer service.

What to Expect

    Itinerary
    This is a typical itinerary for this product

    Stop At: The Great wall of Jiankou, Beijing China

    Your private car and driver will pick you up around 8am by private car. Driving from Beijing to your first stop will last around 2 hours, and then you will arrive Jiankou Great wall of China to start hiking. Along the way, you will be fascinated by the pretty landscape of the mountains, trees are all over the mountain and small river running in the valley.

    After a short break in the local guide's house, you will start to hike with your professional hiking guide. Your hiking guide will go all the way with you to make sure you will go on the right way and avoid very steep part of old wall.

    Duration: 2 hours

    Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China

    Hiking will last for 3 to 4 hours and will end at Mutianyu Great wall. You can decide to take cable car to go down or walk 30mins further to slide down by goboggan(only in good weather). Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded comparing to other parts in Great Wall of China, and the view from there is simply amazing and the hike is more exciting since it's sharper and more difficult. Be ready to have some fun and sweat! Hiking guide will take you to meet driver at Mutianyu site. then you will be transferred back to your hotel in Beijing.
