Overview

At 8:00 am, Emo Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo/Giza to start your full day tour. You will visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos and have a look at the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified the dead body of King Chephren. You'll also get a close-up view of The Sphinx - The legendary guardian standing by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and head of King Chephren (2:30 hrs spent). Afterwards, you will proceed to Sakkara located 27 km southwest away from Cairo to visit the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser) which is an important part of pyramid evolution process (2 hrs spent). Moving on, you will go to Dahshur area - royal necropolis 40 kilometers south of Cairo - where Bent and Red Pyramids are located (1 hr spent). Lastly, you will visit Memphis City - ancient capital of Egypt with colossal statue of Ramses II and great Alabaster Sphinx dating back to 3100 B.C (1 hr spent). At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Stop At: Pyramids of Giza, Al Haram Str., Giza 12611 Egypt

Beginning at 8:00 am with pickup from your hotel in Cairo/Giza by an Emo Tours guide, embark on a full day tour to visit the Giza Pyramids. See the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos and explore the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified King Chephren. Get up close to The Sphinx.

Stop At: Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), Giza Egypt

Venture to Khufu's pyramid complex which consists of a valley temple now buried beneath Nazlet el-Samman village. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been uncovered but are yet to be excavated.

Stop At: Khafre's Pyramid, Al Haram, Giza Egypt

At Khafre's pyramid complex take in the sights of a valley temple, Sphinx temple, causeway, mortuary temple and king's pyramid. Various statues of Khafre were found in the valley temple by Mariette 1860 as well as further excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, Reisner.
