This is a unusual urban trekking that will lead you to Spianata Castelletto, an astonishing panoramic viewpoint where you will enjoy the amazing view of the city center and the Porto Antico Area and taste a traditional sweet.
Next stop is the "Antica Farmacia Sant'Anna", an ancient herbal pharmacy built in 1600 where the Carmelite Friars will explain to you the secrets of natural remedies that they prepare with products from their gardens. Free lunch.
In the afternoon, you will pass by the "Albergo dei Poveri" established in 1600 as a refuge for poor people and then you will reach the Carmine District with its picturesque little squares and streets with evocative names. In Piazza del Carmine you will visit the ancient Nostra Signora del Carmine e di Sant’Agnese church from the outside.
