What To Expect

You will be collected from your accommodation in Cairo or Giza between 4-5:30 am, with a journey to the Cairo Airport for an early morning flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor, you will be met by your guide for the day tour. Your first visit will be at the Valley of Kings situated on the West Bank, containing 63 registered tombs and three newly discovered ones. Then head over to Hatsheput Temple, a unique mortuary temple dedicated to Pharaoh Hatsheput who wore false beard and male regalia in order to become pharaoh. Following this, view the Memnon statues - two colossal statues that are all that remain from Amenhotep III's Mortuary Temple. Cross into East Bank for lunch at a local house and meet an Egyptian family and experience their culture. Finally, end with Karnak Temples - one of Egypt's major sites; feel its ancient energies as you explore this complex before returning back to Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo and transport back home thereafter.
