Large cities are often cities with a rich criminal history. In Moscow, as in any other large world metropolis, there are places where it was undesirable to enter. Previously, such areas included Khitrovka Square, Trubnaya Square, Maryina Roshcha.
We will visit the famous Khitrovka. In the second half of the 19th century Khitrovka became an one of the most criminal areas of the city.
We will also visit Trubnaya Square and Trubnaya Street - the famous Drachevka or Grachevka. Vnukov's house, located on the corner between Grachevka and Tsvetnoy Boulevard housed the famous Krym tavern. Everyone knew about this tavern in Moscow, its mysterious basement called «Hell».
Next, we will visit the Maryina Roscha area.
We will also learn the history of the famous prisons - Boutyrskaya and Lefortovskaya, as well as see the famous Petrovka, 38 and find out where the first building of the Moscow detective police was located.
