Our guide will be meet you at the pick up point. After pick up you will be driven to Vaikom. It Is lies on the western side of the Kottayam district of Kerala. It is a quaint village just an hour’s drive from the Cochin city and offers you a traditional welcome.
After arriving at Vaikom, our guide will assist you to explore village and help you in interactions with the villagers and their families. You will have a chance to witness the unhurried lifestyle of the villagers.
Row a small canoe, through narrow canals, enjoy quite unhurried peaceful moments while going through canals. You may also a witness some activities by the local villagers at canal side. Then walk through the village, to see how the local people earn their livelihoods. Ladies weave coir ropes from dried coconut husks, and you’ll see straw mats being woven out of wild pineapple leaves. You will be invited inside a local house to have Kerala lunch in a traditional way. After lunch
