Overview

On the ground floor lies Bryusov’s memorial cabinet where one can find things once belonged to him: his library, oak table, clock, furniture, paintings and drawings.
The first floor immerses its visitors in the aesthetics of the Silver Age by its exhibition of the most bright poets and writers of XIX-XX centuries. Memoirs and lifetime editions of authors’ books with their autographs, different almanacs and journals that were printed back then are all presented here. These materials and exhibition’s architectural and artistic setting can show all the colours of this age by showing unique manuscripts and portraits of Larisa Reisner by Vasily Shukhaev, Maximillian Voloshin by Boris Kustodiev, Andrei Bely by Leon Bakst and many others.
