Private Tour - Meet In The Hawaii Volcano Park includes up to 11 guests
This tour will take you from the top of the park at 4000 foot elevation down Chain of Craters to the ocean. Walking out past lava flows.
Ideal for those driving over from Kona or Waikoloa. After driving over to the National Park (around a 2 hour drive) let us show you the Volcano sights around the Park. Your guide will pick you up at the Volcano Visitor Center to begin the tour. Start time is 10:30am but can be modified on request.
• Visitor Center
• Kilauea Caldera and Steam Vents
• Thurston Lava Tube (May be closed for repairs)
• Mauna Ulu 1969 to1974 Lava flow where you can walk out on a past lava flow. We will see some fissures, tree molds and other interesting formations.
• Craters along the road to the ocean
• Kilauea Iki the location of a 1959 eruption
• Sea Arch at the bottom of the Chain of Crater
You pay the entrance fee at the gate good for 7 days we will meet you at the Visitor Center.
