    This private tour will take you through Dorsoduro district, the lively district of the University with its small art galleries and artisan shops to visit the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in the fascinating palace Venier dei Leoni on the Grand Canal with a local Venetian art historian and local Venetian guide. The collection of twentieth-century paintings and sculptures was formed by Peggy Guggenheim and embraces all the major artistic European and American movement: Picasso, Calder, Kandinsky, Giacometti, Jackson Pollock, Joan MIrò, Max Ernst, Salvador Dali, Piet Mondrian and it’s exposed in her private house-palace in Venice.You will learn about Peggy's life, some anedocte and her role in teh Venetian life.
    Due to the rules of the museum the most of the explication for the tour will be given in the garden of the sculpture of the museum.
    The tickets for the entrance must be booked on line directly on the website of the Guggenheim.
