This is a tour perfect for those who love archeology and also for wine lovers that would like to taste the renowned “Lacryma Christy” from Campania while savoring our regional delicacies. Your driver will pick you up at Sorrento in the morning and take you on a two hour exploration of Pompeii, the ancient Roman city destroyed by Mount Vesuvius' eruption in 79 AD. After, you'll be taken to a winery at the base of Vesuvius with spectacular views over Capri, Sorrento and Naples Bay. During your visit there, you'll be offered 5 varieties of wine (white, red, rosé) paired with typical dishes from Campania such as bruschetta with salami and provolone cheese, spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil as well as pastiera napoletana - an Easter-time ricotta tart. Finally, your driver will drop you off back at Sorrento in the afternoon.
