    My name is Diego. I have a bachelor's degree in tourism and a master in social studies from the University of Guadalajara.

    I created this tour to introduce visitors to the history, culture and architecture of Guadalajara, my home city.

    Walking in the city's historic barrios, plazas and markets, you will discover its unique personality while learning how historical events have shaped its urban and social landscape throughout the centuries.

    You will also discover Guadalajara's fundamental landmarks, including:

    1. The Cathedral
    2. Hospicio Cabañas (home to the murals of Jose Clemente Orozco)
    3. Mercado Libertad (the biggest indoor market in Latin America)
    4. Chapultepec cultural corridor.

    Whether a family with children, a couple, a group of friends or a solo traveler, my tours are highly flexible/adaptable to meet your specific interests.

More than a regular tour, I'd like to provide you with a thoughtful progression through the city, with an emphasis on history, architecture and socio-political movements. In a fun and slow-paced 3-hour walk you'll see 10+ of Guadalajara's fundamental landmarks, including: the Cathedral, the city square and the main plazas and government buildings, templo Expiatorio, Mercado Libertad (the largest indoor market in Latin America), Colonia Americana, Hospicio Cabañas, Degollado Theater, and more! This is a fully-private experience, meaning your guide will give you exclusive attention and we'll go at your own pace, so a personalized high-quality experience is guaranteed.
