Large and powerful tour of the Puigmal leaving the Collet de les Barraques and passing through the Sanctuary of Núria.
The Puigmal with its 2,913m of altitude is an emblematic and well-known mountain in Catalonia, however it is the highest mountain in the Eastern Pyrenees. It is located between the Ripollès region and the French Cerdanya and is highly visited especially during the summer months. During this panoramic route, we will visit La Vall de Núria, a very well-preserved corner with a unique natural and landscape richness. Located at almost 2,000m, the valley is surrounded by peaks of almost 3,000m. An incomparable environment.
We will walk through the Capçaleres del Ter i el Fresser Natural Park, and we will surely enjoy seeing animals such as the Isard or the marmot, very present in this area, as well as a large number of birds of prey
