    The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is a popular heritage visitor attraction offering visitors a unique experience to traverse the National Park, from the coast to England's highest mountains, the Scafells (3,209ft). With steam and diesel engines in regular service including the oldest working 15” steam locomotive in the world, River Irt.
